Yes, there are tons of songs in English as well as in Japanese. You can sing songs from today's popular artists to many older songs.

I have a terrible voice but, when it comes time for some fun at karaoke "Fools rush in " by Elvis is readily avalible. My other favorite is doing some "Offspring" tunes. You name it they have it the average Karaoeke place has atleast 500 english titles. My inlaws like to go to a small place that caters to the older crowd they get a kick out of the American "Gaijin" singing the "Beach Boys" "Sufing U.S.A"

The older karaoke places have a rather lame list of songs. But newer places have hundreds of songs, including the old standard Beatles, Elvis, the Carpenters, etc. EVERY Beatles song is in the book, even ones you have never heard of. I bet even Bluejay Way is in there. Number nine??!!?? Maybe not.
Anyway, you know you have been in Japan too long (actually you can never be in Japan too long) when you don't know the new songs in the karaoke book. Jessica who? Maroon who??!!?? It's at that point that you start learning some enka. . . . .

Yea they do.
If you're a big fan of classic songs the you'll have fun.
If you like pop music like that Spears girl then you'll have enough songs to sing.
If you want to sing the latest 50 cent song or bust out some Snoop Dogg then you're not gonna be too happy with the selection.

Yes, it is. In fact, many of them also have the lyrics in English as well as Japanese. Many Japanese singers sing songs from the US in English.
