Do you think Ayumi Hamasaki will ever come over from Japan to tour or play in the United States?

depends on the current flavor of pop culture in the US. Some Japanese singers are making major inroads in the US though they haven't been featured on MTV's TRL yet (which is probably a good thing).

Ayumi has a big following in Japan and South East Asia but the American market might not be ready or willing to take on someone that people might think was the Britney Spears of Japan.

However she does a number of fans in the States particularly amongst Japanophiles and Asian foriegn exchange students.

I actually got a part in one of her videos a couple of years ago. She often has a number of gaijin in her videos. (I'm the nutty professor with the lipstick and the masked guy playing the console game and with a tilted head at the end of the vid)

i do in comparison to Boa. Ayumi Hamasaki, she's ageing. Ayumi Hamasaki was rather universal few years in the past, yet i do no longer think of everybody is loopy approximately her anymore. Boa, i do no longer even think of she's that universal.

I prefer Utada Hikaru and Yuna Ito more than her...Their voices are awesome compared to Ayumi's.

Maybe, after all she's popular.
However, she's getting old and many new singers are rising up, so maybe not.
It really depends on whether she's got tons of fans waiting for her in U.S

Maybe. . .I'm sure her record company would love that

$$MONEY$$MONEY$$.

Most Japanese singers would love to tap into the American market. They keep trying. . . .
