♡You've already got lots of great answers.
I'll just add a bit more here...
"Old Delhi" in Ginza is very good!

~There are lots of good places, some chain types too- like Indian Restaurant chain "ARPAN" presently in Roppongi and Mycal Honmoku, Yokohama. You have to take a look around and find your favorites.
☆If you're in Osaka, try ”Indian restaurant Manaste”:
http://www.namaste-jp.com/main2.htm
~☆You didn't say WHERE your brother would be in Japan so I gave you a few options here.
You won't have trouble finding places though, just take a walk around the area you're in. You'll find them soon enough. (*^o^*) Don't worry!
Hope your brother has a safe, good trip to Japan and I hope this info helps!♡

If your brother wants to shop for groceries, National Azabu in Hiroo carries a wide variety of internatinal foods. To a lesser extent, you can shop at the international foods section of a Queens Isetan supermarket. There is also a chance to find international foods at a Kinokuniya store.

In big cities, Indian restaurants abound.

Great India is a popular chain of cheap (for Japan) Indian restaurants but there are loads of self-owned indian restaurants.

Tokyo is brimming with Indian restaurants.

Don't you understand Yokohama is just neighbor to Tokyo? Yes, you can get them at Indian grocery stores and Indian restaurants those are so many as well as Tokyo in Yokohama.

That's a pretty vague question!!

Japan is a BIG place - but I CAN tell you that in most largish towns there are several Indian restaurants!! In our local town, I have been to 4 different Indo restaurants, and I definitely have my favourite...!!!

Unless your brother is going to be travelling a lot, why don't you tell us which part of Japan he will be in? Maybe one of us might be able to locate a list of Indian restaurants in the nearest town...?!!

If he just wants ingredients to cook himself, say so! There are lots of import stores around, some of which have Indian ingredients - and, as in most countries, even supermarkets have a wide selection of spices..!

There are some great Canadian Indian Restaurants in Japan, but service can be slow during the Moose Hunt. Please have fun with the complimentary Duct Tape....
