Hello, I am a Russian citizen living in the Netherlands, i need to get a visa to China and Hong Kong now.
If you know agencies in Amsterdam, who can make these visas for me - please let me know.
I cannot make a visa by invitation or hotel booking, since I do not know yet in which Chinese cities I will go - everything will be decided when I am already in China.
Many thanks!

Hello! I am going to China (Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong-Kong).
Could you please advice nice hotels/hostels in these cities? Close to the city center, $ 50-80.
If you know the cheapest flights from Amsterdam, NL - I would also be grateful.
Do they require usual chinese visa to visit HK, or some special one?
I heard that after visiting HK they require new visa to mainland China. Is that true?
Thanks a lot!

I intend to bring my family (Children 4 and 6 years old) to Hong Kong between 16 Feb to 20 Feb 2007. However, the date coincide with Chinese New Year on 18, 19, 20 Feb. Can anyone advise if it is a good date travelling to Hong Kong? Will Shopping Center all closed, what about dinning and sight seeing. Also will dinning be more expensive?

i asked a few questions before about where to buy goods from HK, now what i'm interested in is how on earth i'll get them back to the UK.

I've checked a few links that were given and seen a lot of stuff that i think i can make a good profit on, however, i have a feeling i'll be slapped with a huge tax bill when each item comes into the country which defeats the purpose of buying them at 'wholesale tax free' prices to make a profit.

any idea on how this will actually work? i'm taking a stab in the dark with all of this.

I am applying to Beijing/Peking University for my Master's next year. I am also headed to Beijing this summer to study Mandarin. The thing is, they [Beida] are asking me for a Chinese name (they said said I should provide one OR ELSE they'll give me one! Crazy!). So, where do I start or could you give some suggestions? Thanks.
