We were in Macau earlier this year visiting family. We caught the ferry from Hong Kong to Macau
The currency is Macanese pataca (MOP)

They'll take Hong Kong dollars in Macau.

There are trains and ferries from Hong Kong to Macau that take about 30mins to an hour, I think.

(I don't know if I can really recommend the trip to Macau unless you're a fan of the casinos.)

its called pataca..or MOP
from macau to hongkong u can take ferry its only 30 min
they service from morning to night ( around 9 - 10 pm)
