i cannot make up my mind!
All of you here have gone to HK many times, like me, I always stay in Kowloon side, now, we are thinking of staying in HK Island, near IFC mall or pacific place!
Which is better for tourists, Kowloon or HKI?
In terms of accessibility, in terms of tourist attraction like malls etc....?
Whichever is OK, we would get hotel there!
If you guys have recommendations on nice hotel, cheap but accessible hotel, a 3-star one will do!

Are you shy to express yourself because you can't speak Mandarin or any local languages?

Or, you would just try your best to use body language or drawing whatever on notes....?

Or may be you just ignore them?

Or you "block" them?

Who here loves Hong Kong?? The skyscraper, the view, the crowded scenes, the intense neon signs at night, and the busy streets of Mongkok?

What about the food? Great sea food and dim sum. Shopping in Causeway, Central, Langham Mall, and even at Sheung Shui?? Or maybe Harbor City at Tsim Sha Tsui??

The not as rush area such as Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, and Shatin with great places to explore? You can ride the KCR and the light rail from Yuen Long to Tin Tsui Wai!

To me, I love it!

Does anyone have a list of must do activities in Hong Kong? I'm hanging out with my mom.

Also, where is a good place to get spa service? I want a facial, pedi/manicure.

Has anyone heard of ear cleaning services? Is it any good? What do they do to you?

That....well..firstly..I was, I am and I probably will be the victim of racism...I will never forget about those days when kids push me...swear at me and call me a c h i n k with c h i n k y eyes..and that I should just go back to where I came from
-CHINA
I was obviously hurt and I use to cry all the time when people say that..but the teasing got worse..In high school...I sorrt of developed this 'don't take ****' kind of attitude..so I don't tolerate any kind of racist comments...In the earlier years..I was going through this angry phase so I would swear and abuse them back,,,but the teasing was still pretty bad..

Later on in High School..I would tell them off and say that what they are doing is wrong...then I would push them and say 'Take that ..remember me..'cause I'm not ya average C H I N K!'

Some of my Chinese friends call me racist for using that term but I hope you know what I 've meant ..all I'm doing is trying to redefine the term...

We've all heard the big out cry from the Western world over the lead paint incident but what do you Chinese think.

The fact is, lead is a toxic substance that causes brain damage in young kids and cancer in adults. That is why has been banned form consumer products for over 30 years, so it’s not NEWS that this stuff is bad for the health.

But what do the Chinese think?

Do they think the lead paint is harmless? Aren't they concerned about their kids handling this substance, and that Chinese products are of such poor and even harmful standards? If the Chinese use it in toys now (30 years after the rest of the world banned it) what else are they using it in (House paint)?

I mean; here is a proven toxic substance that is used in consumer goods in China and thus far we haven't heard any complaints from the Chinese. Do they think it’s harmless? Are they okay with your kids handling this stuff?
