I am a language teacher, I'm thinking of becoming a flight attendant just to spice up my life. Knowing the fact that I'd be paid the same and I think being a flight attendant is a hard job I'm in two minds about it. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

I had never flown and we were going over Galveston, TX. I asked if we would fly over the ocean and she said "I don't know, but if you look down and see it, then we'll be flying over it". My husband says I asked for it but I thought it was a legit question and didn't expect a rude answer. Isn't it part of her job to know at least a little about the flight route?

I am a Filipino travelling from Korea to Philippines via Taipei. I have 2 e-tickets from different airlines. Upon arrival at Taipei, I will have to get my luggage, then check-in for the next flight to Philippines.

During my transit, are there any fees that I will have to pay and how much? (ex. Terminal Fees, Transit Fees, or Landing Visa, or whatever).

I will be just waiting for 3hours within the airport for my next flight while on transit.

At the current summit in Europe, Putin has stated his opposition to Bush &Co. proposition to make a ring of nuclear weapons in Europe. He states this violates previous agreements the US has with Russia and that if it is done, he will have no other recourse but to respond the same way Kennedy did during the Cuban Missile Crisis. So, same thing? If not, why? If it is, isn't it just one more way that Bush is pushing US colonialism on the rest of the world?
