Is $410 a good deal for a Tampa Bay, FL to San Diego, CA round trip (with 1 stop) ?

I have never paid that much for airfare. I would avoid traveling on a Sunday if at all possible. Sundays are high traffic days when many people are returning home for the upcoming work-week. Try booking mid-week (Tuesdays if possible) to get a cheaper fare. Also, invest some time. You can start with the travel sites, and enter the dates you need to travel. Look which airlines are the cheapest. Then, go to that airline's site, and enter the same information, because often times fares will be even cheaper! You can also try hotwire.
Yahoo's fare alerts can offer some good deals, but these fares may have some restrictions on the dates you can travel. Also, download southwest's DING (southwest.com). While there may be some restrictions (such as no travel on Saturdays and/or Sundays), you can get some REALLY low fares if you look at the right time.

While it may be a good deal, how much money are you making and how many travel perks are you making on this flight? The local travel agents, travel websites and airlines are getting rich off of your hard earned money. Did you realize that when you book with a local travel agent, online with an over advertised website or airline, you are being their unpaid travel agent. If you, your family and friends are going to travel then why not have your own travel website, travel wholesale (not retail) and get paid doing it. While a vacation is nice, a paycation is even better. Please think about it. Finding the link with all the details and contact info is easy.
