Fellow Jews, just thought this might make you chuckle?

This is a remark made in the R&S section, it made me laugh wryly and I thought it might amuse you too. The remark was part of a question and wasn't directed at anyone in particular:

'If Jesus could see what you'd all done to Christianity, I think he would cry.'

I think someone hasn't received proper religious education lessons...

Anyway, just thought it might raise a smile :)

Would I be allowed to become a Palestinian citizen?

Let’s say sometime in the future a Palestinian state is created that includes all or most of the territory of the West Bank.

Would I as an American Jew be allowed to live there? Would I eventually be permitted to apply for citizenship?

What if the inhabitants of a small settlement unanimously decided that they want to revoke their Israeli citizenship and take Palestinian citizenship provide that they were allowed to say in their homes. Would they be accepted?

What if a quarter million settlers said the same thing, would that be allowed?

Just something to think about.

Why can't the United States and Israel be more like Canada?

After all in Canada it is a crime to say anti-Semetic thing and you will go to jail. In the US and Israel they have free speach. We should be more like Canada were they arrest those who do hate speech right?

Please imagine yourself in that situation, imagine yourself asking, if the one person you love or loved was to marry your best friend, and you had no idea that they were to be getting married, nor you have imagined that, What will you do in that situation??

Egyptian kids?

Having recently been in Egypt for the second time and loving it, we went to Cairo for a day. At the pyramids there were young boys selling things. They weren't doing any harm and didn't bother us but some people were rude to them. They are only children.
Nearer the Sphynx I came across a little boy called Farouk. He offered me a free bookmark. I sat on a wall with him chatting to him. I gave him my fan, a packet of sweets, and some money. He was the lovliest boy (about 10) that i had ever met. He was so cute and polite. He talked about football and said he liked Scottish people. There was a teenage boy hanging around him and i was worried incase he would take the things i gave him. Then this boy came over and started saying that Farouks father had three wives, and this really upset the poor little boy and he denied this and said his father had only one wife. I told the older boy to go away and leave him alone. When i had to go Farouk shook my hand and bid me farewell. continued below

Is Israel a Member of the United Nations?

Does Israel respect and abide by the decisions of the United Nations? Does Israel agree with the decisions of the United Nations? If you agree plz tell me why? And if you disagree plz tell me why?
