i am personally aware of crossroads in my life.
this awareness came to me through the Greek drama Oedipus Rex .
Oedipus has the choice between three forking roads.
his choice of one road leads to tragic deeds , for he kills his father whom he doesnt know and pays for his crime at the end.
this makes me aware that even my choice of a road or a bridge when im driving can lead to something positive or negative.
another strategy in my life is that i never regret a choice i take.
such regret would cause self blame and make a person suffer psychologically.
so, if i make a good choice, i thank God for it.
if it is a bad choice, i ask God to support me in correcting its effects.
finally, i must thank God for not making drastic bad choices in my life. my choices have always been good , al 7amdu lellah.

The crossroad for me was meeting my husband. I had never married before, nor wanted to, but then i met 'K' & my whole world turned upsidedown. Big risk marrying a man i only met 3 days before & a foriegner at that.
But But But, yes i made the right choice & though we have had hard times setting up home back in England, we are very happy & i dont regret a thing.
I love K like i have never loved any other.

Every time I come to a crossroad in my life I am driving a RHD car on a LHD road.
I think that says it all.

I joined the military when I was 19 and never regretted a second of it.
I can give you a long list of reasons but I'll spare you those major details here.
