Go to a travel agent near you. Before you go it is better to form an idea of what you want to see, how long will you stay etc.
My advice for the minimum is:
1 day in Cairo to visit the Egyptian museum, the pyramids of Giza and ( optional) the citadel with the alabaster mosque.
If you stay 2 days in Cairo, then go to Memphis, Sakkara and old Cairo.
A cruise in the Nile river between Luxor and Aswan for 3-4 days.
If you have more time then 1 day in alexandria, 3 days in Sharm el Sheikh.

I used MISR travel out of new york about 3 years ago, it was a great deal, we got roundtrip air, 8 nights hotel, some excursions to the pyramids and to luxor and it was only 1200 per person.
