Is it true that after the six day war, Israel annexed twenty-eight villages that historically were part of the West Bank and defined them as Jerusalem?

It is written in this article and Vice Prime Minister Haim Ramon has explained that none of the Jerusalem neighborhoods that would come under Palestinian sovereignty were ever part of Jerusalem and aren’t now.

And the Israelis still argue that Jerusalem is all theirs and they don't want to "give up" a part of it! Dud!

I once heard Madeleine Albright make comments to this affect:

"I once met a Palestinian diplomat and he told me, 'You will never understand us, for you too (meaning Americans) are a settler people.'

I thought about it for a minute and then replied, 'You know, I think you're right'."

These comments struck me at the time, and have given me some perspective on tacit American support for the settlements.

What are your thoughts on this quote and the mindset that it suggests?

JERUSALEM (AFP) — Another UN agency joined the chorus of alarm on Friday about the devastating consequences of Israeli restrictions on the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, in the run-up to a Palestinian donors' conference.

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs warned that the restrictions Israel tightened after Hamas seized armed control of the territory in June could irrevocably damage the Gaza economy.

It was the third international report released this week about the mounting difficulties endured by the 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza, following findings from the World Bank and the World Health Organisation.

I am not an Arab or a Jew myself. I just can't understand how or why, a simple peace-loving citizen of Israel, still lives on this land.
I mean, being Jewish means to me, a man (person) of the World.
Jew immigrants did wonders all around the world, absorbing the finest elements of their new country and establishing live and thriving communities there.
Tell me please, how a sane family Israeli person can live and evolve in such a terrible war-zone country for so many decades now?
Is money, the answer?

Did God told the Israelis to evacuate all the peoples of Palestine by force and take your “promised land” by force?
Do you think God is not having enough land in his huge world to give the Israelis a land already inhabited by its peoples since thousands of years?
Do you think God is happy to see his chosen people’s kill 4901 Palestinian civilians since September 2000?
This is what I read in Torah,
“In Numbers chap. 34 Preparations being made to enter Canaan and possessing the land. Reuben and Gad did not want to cross the Jordan”
So, God told Moses you are entering Canaan land, God didn’t tell him you are entering the Promised Land or your land, or the Jewish land, it means God told him you are entering a land it is not “yours” it is for the cannanies…

This is a riddle. You are walking along a road where you encounter two men from two totally different villages. The one village is filled with liars and at the other village everyone tells the truth. You were told to go the village where nobody ever told a lie, because the village with the liars are also cannibals. You were also told to ask only one question to them before you can make up your mind who to believe. What would that question be?

Gatsby was walking back from a visit down in Branton Hill's manufacturing district on a Saturday night. A busy day's traffic had had its noisy run; and with not many folks in sight, His Honour got along without having to stop to grasp a hand, or talk; for a mayor out of City Hall is a shining mark for any politician. And so, coming to Broadway, a booming bass drum and sounds of singing, told of a small Salvation Army unit carrying on amidst Broadway's night shopping crowds. Gatsby , walking towards that group, saw a youg girl, back toward him, just finishing a long, soulful oration ... "
