Okay Mrs Claus...then don't answer ! It's a fair question when you think about it...look at animals that are nocturnal...hunt & feed at night ! Why are we different ?

Who did tell you that you have to sleep only during the night? If you look around at 10:00 am...for sure you'll find someone sleeping. Actually I have a brother that just yesterday at 9:00 am told me that was going to make a nap !!!!!!! LOL
You can sleep at the time you want to do it, and at the time your work allows it to you.
The only required thing is to sleep among 6 and 8 hours per day to keep oneself healthy.
If you get a job to care a factory at night.....you'll sleep during the day. As Kate said, doctors, guards, policemen, pilots, bus drivers.....and many others have nocturnal jobs, and have to be awake at night.
It is only about uses and depends on the jobs.........
I have to add also, that most of the jobs are for the day time.

Ohh......BTW....some humans hunt at night also !! Didnt you know that?

Sleep is the natural state of rest observed and the only time we can fully sleep is the night time because during day time we need to work. Hmmmm its like we can't work forever or rest forever but certain cells r created at night and sleeping from 1-4 during night time is important for the body.

EDIT: SARA SHOW SOME RESPECT! War things are not "awesome"....

I´ll answer you other questions:
- Tell me, how do you like sleeping during the day? Does it feel the same? Do you feel as rested as when you sleep at night?
- How would you like to move to Finland? Sleeping with broad daylight for six months? Having to work in the dark???
My dear koala, I think you must have been mighty sleepy when you asked this one...
Mwah!!!!!!!!!!

I think because back...way back the cavemen slept at night because they found ti more fitting seeing as during the day they could see, and over time our bodies picked up on that. Sort of like how we store energy for fat.

not everyone sleep at nights...some people sleep at days, depending on their job, like police and security and doctors etc, they sleep during the day and work at night

no one decided that it's only what is suitable for our mode of life.

mans survival has always depended on work , Daytime has always been better for most work . It is amazing that we can change as easily as we do to night shift when we must.
