I don't really like flying and for 7 hours its quite scary, flying with aer lingus from dublin, was meant to be flying with emirates but had to postpone my trip and so emirates couldn't take me. Only consolation is; it's near home. I know it may be silly (because believe it or not I travel abroad every year), but just looking to be informed. If you have any good tips on Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai, I would be glad!!! xxx Caroline

According to a very interesting article that I have recently read, South Africa's agricultural industry is on a downward spiral. It is a fact though, that in the lates national budget the funding for our agricultural industry has been decreased from
R 2.37Billion to R 2.28Billion. This while the ratio of imported agricultural produce toward exported agricultural produce has increased from R 2.40(export) for R 1.00(import) to R 1.40(export) for R 1.00(import), over the last ten years!

Also interesting to note is that the ANC's land reform project plans to have AT LEAST 30% of the workable land in SA belonging to black, or previously dissadvantaged "new" farmers. This would mean that the current 24,6 million hectares of white- owned farms would be redistributed amongst the aforementioned majority. Consider that 200 000 farmworkers have been dissmissed during the past ten years due to infertile attempts to keep redistributed farms operating.

Any thoughts guys?

Now I know it's not a country, but I think that the Palestinian territories should be sublisted under Israel. At least this way, all the pro-Palestinian idiots who come to this T-R-A-V-E-L forum would have their own travel forum to propoandize against Israel. What do you all think? Should yahoo do this? She is going out with a guy, so we went out like many couples together, and he was like a BIG LIER, a BIG BIG BIG ONE, all commented on him and said that she must not see him anymore because he is BAD news, so i told her, and she is still seeing him,

Well now that's not the deal, the deal is he is rude and like i think she is with him because he keeps buying her stuff and taking her our, she is 26 and good looking, i like her too much for her to waste her time with him,

she lives with 2 other girls in the house, and like he goes to her house daily for like 4-6 hours and stays with her in the room??? her House mates called me complaining that this is too much, and i should talk to her.....come on what shall i do with her, she is like a sis, but she isnt listening to me :( HELP
I know i sound like a 6 years old but he gives me the freaks and chills as well :P he is even avoiding me ( i think she told him what i said) my husband said to leave them alone its not our business???

Started as romance online,he has caucasion picture, lives nearby me,is self employed repairing computers, currently visiting dad in Nigeria, has deseased mother was from UK. After several e-mails asked if he SENt ME a check would I cash it for him at Bank of America because they wouldnt transfer his money for some reason. Needs the money for airfare to get back to States. Says didnt take it in fear he'd lose it on trip. Managed to get him to give me addresses here, a SS#, previous addresses of his in States. Couldnt run SS cuz I cant pay to do it. I ended up giving him my address and he has my name. I am penniless, have no checking account, ans no assests of any kind. What should I be worrying about? If he sends me a check, will I get arrested for cashing it? Has anyone had this exact thing happen? Am I in danger? Should I notify someone and who?

Ok now im asking this because in doha we have two things, Trraffic lights and Round Abouts (Lots of them) so i was thinking since i get caught in traffic a lot...
1- We have Four traffic lights in 4 intersections (A +A1), (B+B1), (C+C1) and (D+D1)
A You go Straight and A1 you go left, B you go straight and B1 you go right and so on...
1- So if (A+A1) starts first and then stops then (B+B1) the (C+C1) then (D+D1) and so on how much time will it take
2- And if A + B will go together then A1 + B1 , and C+D then C1+D1 and so on... how much time will it take??
Which is faster Number 1 or 2?? which is more effective???

Do you understand me, im sure you have four intersections with traffic lights :D

I know that English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa, Tsonga, Tswana, etc are spoken in South Africa. But in the cities what is the most spoken language. Cape Town? Johannesburg? What about the Shantytowns and Soweto?

I don't see why Maronites have to be presidents. I don't see why Lebanon must have a Christian president, I think it is time we change this stupid system and allow a Shiaa to be prime minister and a maronite to be speaker of parliament.and anyone to be president...enough of this stupid religious power sharing formula...Why do we think only Maronites can preserve Lebanon current system..this is so dumb...no more, agree?
