What is the first thing you would change?

Going on public TV and apologizing for re-instating racial policies in South Africa and admit that violent crime is out of hand and that we, as government, will henceforth do all in our power to protect the law-abiding citizens of South Africa. Back at the office I will scrap affirmative action and proclaim ability and experience the only criteria for employment. I will also re-instate the death penalty. I will then distribute the surplus on the annual budget to the police for expanding the force and better training, to the education department and to the health department. Since these 3 are the worst run departments, I will fire those 3 ministers on grounds of incompetence. I will also empower hospitals, schools and police offices to report directly back to my office whether or not the money filtered down to them. I will employ panels of real experts to assist in the running of every department. Then I will scrap the building of a R90million wall around my house by a foreign company using taxpayers money, use a tenth of that money to let a local company build the wall and distribute the rest to the RDP project.
Then I will have a meeting with Trevor Manuel to ask if he's interested in standing for president when I retire.
After that I will get on the phone to Bob Mugabe and tell him, not only to stop his sh_t, but also to start fixing it, or we cut all trade to Zim.
Back home, in the evening, I will get on Yahoo answers and answer a few questions in this section.
Then, I'll go to sleep, knowing that what I did today, I did as a leader caring for ALL his people.

Well i would go to office. That in itself would be a change. Bring back the death penalty, stop parole for rape and murder convicts. Stop the affirmative action program. Bring in a qualified Dr in as minister of Health. Increase in pay to the police and nursing professions. Bring back discipline in all schools. I would want to run South Africa as a top multi-million dollar company. Meaning have the best qualified people running the different divisions no mater of the colour of the person. Phone our northern neighbour and inform him that with immediate affect all aid will be stopped if he does not resign with in 48 hours. Then i will go home felling that i have actually done something that my people have been waiting for.

I would invite all the top leaders of the ANC and the government on a flight to Iraq and show them the future of SA if the situation is not addressed immediately, and leave them there for a month with no body guards so they can experience what the average citizen put's up with everyday in our country.
