Now I know it's not a country, but I think that the Palestinian territories should be sublisted under Israel. At least this way, all the pro-Palestinian idiots who come to this T-R-A-V-E-L forum would have their own travel forum to propoandize against Israel. What do you all think? Should yahoo do this? Davay, you do know that there are political forums in answers.yahoo.com where you could incessantly bash Israel to your heart's content.

Not a bad idea at all! Good thinking - but what about all those anti Musims answerers? (to call people with different opinions like yours IDIOTS is not a good way to express yourself) Would they then stay out of the Palestinian section? Don't think so.
The right thing to do is that all of us who ask or answer non travel related questions should shift to: politics. To place questions in the wrong category is against Yahoo rules anyway.
Should be the easiest thing to do.

Interesting. Could be a little iffy, because I don't think any other territory is listed separately, like Puerto Rico. If you list it as a subset of Israel, than pro-Palestinians will be upset that you assume that the Palestinian territories are part of Israel and not intrinsically independant, while if you don't than others will be upset that you automatically assume them independent. I doubt the Israel bashing would move to that forum anyway; I think the idea is to inundate those with open minds who would potentially be pro-Israel and thus come trustingly to the Israel board.

YES, because there are obviously people (me too) who want to discuss Palestinian issues, and don`t really have a place to do so. Doing so in the "Israel-Travel" category is of course the wrong place. You are completely right about that. When such topics come up, those who are asking actual travel questions get bugged of course. But there is no other category which comes closer - geographically, that is. I`d like to discuss Palestinian stuff, but not because I want to "bash" Israel. (actually, I really enjoyed travelling in Israel!!)
Maybe it should be a "Palestinean - Politics" category, not travel (let`s be honest - how many tourists go there? Would you?Probably not, at the moment!)
Having an extra category might keep most of those questions/comments about Palestine out of your hair, but it won`t keep those away who are just out to "bash" Israel. But, as already mentioned, there are plenty who won`t allow a category with the name "Palestine" to even exist (much less the country), so it could be difficult. It`s definately worth a try, however. This little "compromise" might save them the stress of having to read so many answers that they really don`t want to see. And those who otherwise just "bash", might just start talking ( a bit of) sense, if they feel their wishes are being taken seriously. So, I`m definately for it.

Its an idea and you could suggest it at the Yahoo forums but I doubt it will keep the Israel bashers from coming in here.
There are plenty of current events, political and religous areas for the types of questions that appear here that have nothing to do with travel to the Holy Land.

Well the beauty of it is that whether there is or isn't a Palestinian Travel section, those "Pro-Palestinian Idiots" will still use every other forum to spread their "free speech"...
As far as Yahoo! is concerned and adding a whole useless section to their Travel forums, i think there shouldn't be a Palestinian Travel Section.
