I just got a really good deal on a burton dominant and a set of burton freestyle bindings. This is the first time for me to own a snowboard and I really dont know how to set up the bindings on the board.

What binding width should I be riding? what angles? the board im using is a 154 and im going to be doing mostly freestyle riding on boxes and rails. Just from a guess, I was going to try 18 on my front foot and -9 on my back(i think thats right, it should be a little duck), I have been skateboarding the last 7 years and i tried to mimic the angle i usually skate with.

I thought that the angles and width were the only things to take into consideration but i just heard how you have to adjust the hi-back rotation and the forward lean...I have absolutely no clue what that will do when im actually riding...can anyone explain to me what that will do and if i need to adjust the bindings accordingly?

any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I was just wondering if they were dating. I know that they're going to the same school (University of Michigan), and everytime I see recent off-ice photos of them, they've got their arms around each other. Also, the interaction I saw in the press conferences at Nationals, at least from him, suggests that they might like each other. Does anyone have a clue about this?

I've been skating only for 3 weeks so far (3 times, once a week), and it's in group lessons. Also, I'm 13. I can do most of the basic skills, but I'm in adult intro. I've learned to do back and front swizzles, gliding on 1 and two feet, and we're working on crossovers? Why are we working on crossovers at the intro level? In this rink it says there is intro, pre-alpha, etc. But I thought you did crossovers and stuff later. When is the coach supposed to move you up? At the end of the 13 weeks? And after the 13 weeks, does he just move you up 1 level or the level that he/she thinks your at? Also, in my class there are 30 year olds....should I switch to kid lessons? Please help me out, and please leave as much info as you can.

I'm in my school's ski club and i just got my black diamond sticker, and i was thinking about hitting the terrain park, but im not so sure about the jumps. How do you go off of ramps? Does the ramp just launch you in the air, or do you have do maybe "pop" yourself up at the edge of the jump? Im not thinking about doing 360s at the start, maybe just taking it easy the first couple of times and then try to do a grab trick.

Snow tubing is where you slide down a ski slope on a big rubber inflatable tube, similar to the ones you find at a waterpark. I'm supposed to be going tomorrow, and I want to know what it's like

I have a brand new Burton snowboard and binding. Last night, I screwed in my bindings and they were perfect- angled and sturdy. then, when I went to try out my board today, my bindings were really loose- i could actually spin them in circles. I checked the screws and they were tight and my disc (i have a unidisc) was in place. I am afraid that there is a simple solution to my problem that I haven't figured out. Any suggestions???

With a 164 Burton Baron ES is supposed to be used with Burton Size large bindings... What problems might there be mounting or riding with medium sized bindings?

I'm planning to get maybe Relay E/Antidote bindings (Any ideas on which one to get?) and the F22W boots from Salomon, with the Burton Feather. I was just wondering if the bindings would fit with the board? And if say, size 7/8 boots with the Medium bindings?

My shoe size is about 8 and I really don't have anywhere to go try on the boots or the bindings, so I'm kind of stuck on terms of knowing what size I need. I'm just starting out boarding and have only gone a couple times, but I'm getting a season pass up to one of the local mountains and planning on going lots later on.

Any additional info you need just ask. Thanks!

Im going skiing for the first time in a couple of weeks with a group of friends. We're renting a bus and goin down for the day. This is my first time going and was looking for some help. Im in 10th grade by the way, if that makes a difference.

I was just looking for some advise, What to wear, What to bring, what to do? anything would be helpful.

Also one of my friends going is the girl i like. and also my best friend likes her as well. Is there anything i should do besides like trying to spend alot of time with her, that i should do to sort of give me the edge over my friend.

Once again anything would be great. Thanks!!
