I know that string patern can affect how much topspin you get on a ball and the type of strings you have. Tennis warehouse says that certain racquet frames will affect the spin. How does the racquet frame affect the spin. I think that it would all be in the stings and how much the strings grip the ball.

I understand how players win points, but looking at rankings from one week to another, it seems that they also LOSE points - and I can't figure out how this happens... ?
Thanks

I don't know what the swingweight of a tennis racquet is measured in, but would a swingweight of 338 be ok for a 13 yr old?

Well i used the Babolat Pure Drive for many years now and its alright i guess. I mean i like it but theres the New Model out with the cortex technology and like should i get 2 of those now?

What other raquets have you guys used and found interesting

I usually put my tension on ber high.

I like my ground strokes with it but not really the volleys.
They are hard to control maybe cause of the tension.
You think babolat even makes good raquets?

I'm going to get one of the Babolat Pure Drive, but I looked at the string tension recommendations and I'm really confused. I looked on Babolat.com, and the recommended tension for the pure drive is 50-57 lbs. But I also looked on Holabirdsports.com, (this is where I'm going to buy my racquet) and the tension recommendations are 55-62 lbs. Which one should I trust? I always string my racquet at 60 lbs.

I have a prince o3 red and had bought it in April. I had gotten it strung with Prince synthetic gut 16. I wanted to know wether I should get it restrung or would you only string the racquet once the string breaks? If I should get it restung then what would be a good string for it.

I currently use a FXP Radical mp, but Im considering getting the Yonex RDS 001 mid. because I kind of feel that the radical is very light, and I also want a smaller head size from the 98" to 90". What do you think??

Do the players chose their own partners, or does the wta/atp decide who is gonna pair up with who?
If the players decide, then what if, lets say, 'A' wants to be with 'B', but 'B' wants to be with 'C'....
