Does anyone know how they pair up for the doubles partnership?

Do the players chose their own partners, or does the wta/atp decide who is gonna pair up with who?
If the players decide, then what if, lets say, 'A' wants to be with 'B', but 'B' wants to be with 'C'....

On any level you choose your own partners. In a team situation sometimes you are paced by a coach with your partner. My advice is simple. look for a gut who his low returns , volleys well. Serves and hits overheads well . Ideally plat with a player who has an opposite hand so you can cover the middle at the net with forehand volleys. You want a guy who will yell and tell you when to switch. Success breeds friendships. Good luck

If A wants to be with B. But B wants to be with C, then A and B don't hook up.
Use some common sense.
