watch the ball
raquet back
hit
follow through(you should almost be choking yourself with your arm. the tip of your elbow should be about 4-5 inches away from your face)
if you want more power, then when getting your raquet back, do a loop motion with your arm (your in ready position, and you bring your raquet up and around). you also have to get close enough to the ball to hit it, but you don't want it straight in front of you. you always want it to the right of you

more power means using your body as a whole to hit the ball., not just your knees or arms.
less tension on your strings will add power, but lessen control.
get a bigger head sized racquet.
Prince O3 silver can give you all the power out of any other racquet. but its $250... lol.

when you put your hand out don't put it out right in front of you, put it out to the right if your are a righty and to the left if you are a lefty. hit out in front of you and hit under the ball for top spin. make sure that you turn your hips every time you hit the ball. move your feet so you can get to the ball in time that will help a lot.

Bend your knees, and rotate your hips and shoulders and drive into the ball as best as you can. Also remember to step in no matter what.

the best way to obtain more power is to HIT THROUGH THE BALL and transfer your body weight FORWARD.
