1- This happened my wife in a Long Island Beach-at NYC . My wife is a superb swimmer (she was in a swimming team many times.) She wanted use a floatation device just for fun...And a lifeguard came up to her and told her that she can not go into ocean with that....Because it does not appear to be Coast guard approved...

What is your opinion? Can we have fun without being harrased by lifeguards? Dont get me wrong I respect lifeguards for keeping kids and everyone safe but isnt this a little overboard? Where is the limit? I am curious...

It's a pain to keep dumping and re-filling it every few days. Is there something I can put in it, that is safe for my kids, to keep it clean? Thanks!

I was been searching online and can't find an answer. I was under the presumption it was 30 minutes for thunder and 1 hour for lighting. However, Others are under the presumption it is 30 minutes for both. I was wondering if anyone knew the answer and could provide a link to support the answer.

Please help solve an argument.....years ago on the guinness world record show I seen a record won, where people in a swimming pool by means of slowly stretching a swimming hat were able to fit a good few people into it. This came up one night while telling my boyfriend and since he is taking the piss out of me. I know its true i remember watching it........ i need to prove it........... please help

I panic whenever my head is inside the water. It goes back in my early childhood when I was scared with stories about demons, and crazy creatures who would eat you alive.(out of care and love my elders in my family kept me away from water). i have a 3 foot above ground pool ... and we got this vacuum for it ... its a vacuum head that u hook to a telescopical pole and it has some tubes that u hook up ... i'm not really sure how ur suppose to hook it up and neither is my dad... we got the vacuum from one of his friends ... if anybody know how to hook up the vacuum please reply ... thank you

I dont really know how to tread water but people have told me that you use a bicycle motion wtih your feet and move your hands and arms lik your apart of the water but do you hold your breathe when you tread water?

Ok, I KNOW I'm a guy, but a girl I love is having issues finding bras that fit and even worse trouble with a bathing suit top that fits. And since she's too stubborn to let me take her to a store and try some on to find some that fit, I'm tryin to surprise her...which is kinda hard since I'm not sure what EXACTLY will fit.

ANYWAYZ, I know she said she's about a 36DD, and she thinks she might even be a DDD...since ya'll have complicating sizing methods, with freakin S, M, L, XL, XXL, etc, which exactly would probably be the best bet to try?
