im just curious ifanyone has ever heard of this or if it can HELP along with appropriate swimming technique.

it seems like a stomach full of air would help increase buoyancy.

NO!!!! Treading water is all about totally relaxing and allowing the water to hold you up. Just breathe normally and allow your body to drop - you don't even need to move in the water if you do this right!. Tilt your head back a little so your mouth and nose are out of the water and just stay very very still and RELAX|! I swear you will not sink!

no it doesnt help just relax and move your feet slowly back and forth and your hands side to side in a slow but yet fast pace
