i have a 3 foot above ground pool ... and we got this vacuum for it ... its a vacuum head that u hook to a telescopical pole and it has some tubes that u hook up ... i'm not really sure how ur suppose to hook it up and neither is my dad... we got the vacuum from one of his friends ... if anybody know how to hook up the vacuum please reply ... thank you

sounds like you hook it to the pump intake for the pool. That's the hose fitting that "sucks" the water from the pool into the filter.

You either hook one hose up to the vacuum head and the other to the inside of your skimmer box or the head of your water hose, if it's the cheaper kind that come with a mesh bag. What's the brand name of the vacuum so we may better assist you?( Please note: if it's the kind you put in the skimmer you HAVE to hold that end in front of a jet and fill the hose up BEFORE you put it in the skimmer! Just hold it at the jet and let the vacuum head and pole bubble to the surface. When it sinks back down, it's full and safe to install in the skimmer box.)
