♥No. it's probably dirty. it's probbably the build up of chlorophil or algae in it. Try getting it clean. If it was urine, it would be yellow not green. Chlorine is basically clear with a blue tint, not just "blue" Just get it cleaned probably.

No, it is not because of urine and water is not blue, that is only the sky that makes it look blue. And the water doesn't look green, it IS green. Why is it green? Because Lack of chlorine, and/or lack of circulation. The correct amount of Stabilised Chlorine must be used & the filtration must be operating for at least 4 hours per day during winter, and 8 hours per day in summer. Also it is because algae turns pool green, if you haven't cleaned your pool for a bit then your pool will turn green because algae has gotten into it.

Algae, growing on the surface of the pool sides and bottom. It is not thick enough to be seen or felt, but since it is green, it affects the reflected light making the water appear to be greenish. If the bloom gets bad enough, algae will break off from the surface and float freely in the water, just as it does in a pond. Check your chemistry.

You've got an algae build-up. Check the chenistry balance in the pool (chlorine and acid). You may need to shock your water. Go to a pool supply place and read the directions on the acid package for shocking your pool. While there, ask the experts.
One more thing, the water in your pool is not blue. It picks up the blue color from the sky, water is clear.

It's because you have a algae problem. You have to keep cleaning it with the right chemicals. Don't let your pool become too green. Oh and DO NOT swim in it if it's green

Yeah, specialK is right. Algae grows on the walls, especially when it gets hot or your chemicals are off. Take a sample of the water to your pool store and get them to test it. They'll let you know what you need to do.

any water that sits for periods of time turns green. you need to get a chemical shock for pools to get rid of it and run the filter for a day or so consitently. i am sure your pee in the pool doesn't help either.

Art and pool upkeep have nothing to do with one another.
It's called algee. Get a porfesional pool person to test and treat your pool water.
