Please help solve an argument.....years ago on the guinness world record show I seen a record won, where people in a swimming pool by means of slowly stretching a swimming hat were able to fit a good few people into it. This came up one night while telling my boyfriend and since he is taking the piss out of me. I know its true i remember watching it........ i need to prove it........... please help

yes its true that such record exists, you may better search the video on youtube or Guinness website, you will probably find it !

I've actually done it myself. At the end of a big swim meet, a few of my teammates would take a latex swim cap and we would move it up and down in the water until it became VERY stretched out. Once it was big enough, we would have the smallest freshman jump into it. I would bet if you took even longer to stretch it more, you could fit more than just one person. You're totally right!!

That definatly is a true record. They used a latex swimming hat much like the pros used to use and they got about 10 people in. Your boyfriend sounds like a douche if he doesnt realise that the material used for swimming hats is stretchy! And why the hell would you make up something like that! lol

Do you have a camcorder taping of it.I think you are right and your boyfriend is so wrong.Did anyone watched the world record show with you?You might just have to forget about it and start a new day with your boyfriend.
