How can I keep the water in my blow up pool clean and stagnant free?

It's a pain to keep dumping and re-filling it every few days. Is there something I can put in it, that is safe for my kids, to keep it clean? Thanks!

There is a product called "pool-shock" it removes the bacteria that causes that "green water" look. It doesn't take much 3-4 tables spoons for 500 gallons of water.
