I have seen it at only one store and they said it was new, but when I go to compare prices at other gun stores they have never herd of the gun. If had to choose bettewn the Model 25 or the Model 29(I know the Model 25 is .45 and the Model 29 is a .44) or is there a similar gun made by a different manufacturer better?

For under two hundred dollars. If not a luger, then a modern day handgun for the same price. I have actually heard of this, but never knew where the firearm was eventually purchased.

I have read many things about accuracy and most (although NOT all) seem to favor bolt-actions. Is this a true picture?

Can semi-autos or even full autos have high-grade accuracy? What about lever actions?

What about so-called "sniper rifles" like the Soviet Dragunov and U.S. M-14 -- aren't they semi-autos? What about the new Barrett .50's -- some of them are semi-auto, and considered very accurate.

Is this common opinion just a prejudice?

I'm looking to buy a second handgun and I was wondering about good choices for a caliber. I already own a Browning Buckmark .22 semi-automatic and now I'm looking for a centerfire caliber that is almost as cheap to shoot as .22's. I'm thinking about either a .380, a 9mm, or a .38 special. If anyone has some ideas, I'd be happy to hear from you. Thanks.

Well I sold some stuff I wasn't using so I could get a new gun. Would it be totally crazy to drop over 800$ for a gun I have never handled and have it ordered. I'm sure I will love it because I have shot similar ones but I am hesisitant. Nobody in my area has one on the shelf. http://www.paraord.com/product/product.html?id=1

saw something that I have vever seen that was pretty amazing and was wondering if you guys have ever seen anything like it

they are in China and a local fisherman came with his family to teach some of the castaways to fish........when he arrived he had about 9 or 10 duck or geese looking birds that stayed right with him and his little boat......what he did was tie a string around the birds throat then released them in the water and they would dive down and bring up fish which they would drop in the boat....the sring was there so they wouldnt swallow the fish..I don't think there was anything attached to the birds as far as a rope or something to bring them back...it was almost like a dog playing fetch..........amazing stuff..........

Like if a .50 bmg or .58 Nayita hit you anywhere in the chest, would it be possible to survive? Even if they missed anything vital, wouldn't the shock alone kill you? The BMG has 12,000 foot lbs. of force, the Nayaita about 11,000, ( I think you only need about 90-100 to drop a man with moderate effictvness!)
So what do you think?

What is the Smith and Wesson Sigma .40 Cal modeled after in the Glock Series? I bought a paddel holster for my duty belt and it says it fits the Glock 17/22/31 series. I know the Sigma's are very similar to the Glock's, but my gun doesn't fit the holster. Any idea's???
