I reacently bought a fishing boat..(13ft) I would like to know where i could find info on the maker. I would guess it was made in the Mid 60's to late 70's. It has no maker ID so if anyone could give me any info on where to look for some, that would be much appreciated...Thanks

You've all seen the movies and TV shows that show swimmers dodging and out swimming bullets, I know that water slows a bullets speed greatly but at what depth would I be safe from a 9mm round?

I don't have one neither does my grandfather, but he's been succesfull for years now. So how come every were I read or hear about a hunt it involves a rangefinder? Like nobody knows what to do without them. How would getting one make me a more savvy hunter during deer season(advantages)?

I want to get a new rifle for huniting in Wyoming this fall. Mule Deer and Antelope are the target.. I use a Rem. 30-06 semi-auto, but I would like to buy a decent bolt action rifle to use for this trip?

What should I get? If you are wondering, Money is an object... So, what is a decent rifle/size to take? I have looked at a .743, but I am just not knowlegeable to make this call.

What do you think? I prefer to get a rifle/scope package...

Any suggestions? Price ranges

I am a avid fisherman, and I catch and keep serval sharks each year. I teach and show the people on my boat about sharks as so they won't fear them as much and the differance between the spieces. I have tried serval times with little success on preserving the jaws and teeth, granted most of the sharks I keep are between 3 and 5 feet for safety reasons, both for myself and my passangers. I do not kill, or injure any of the sharks that I don't keep, the ones I do keep are not wasted. I was hoping to find out how to preserve there teeth/jaws as not to waste that part also

I just got a 22 cal long rifle and I know 22 are deadly like anygun but really are weak in tems of guns.

22 cal are low velocity rounds... 1260 feet per second
and only carry 130 foot lbs of energy

while a 30-06 may be 3300-4500 feet per second and carry 4000 ft lbs of energy

A 22 is adequit to kill a person, I've heard that a lot of snipers use them, obviously not the military, they use 50 cal

But a deer is rated as being the same size game as a person and were shooting them with rounds that pack 4000 lbs of energy

most cops carry 9mm which only carry 400 ft lbs

so what's the deal???
