no sorry but after the felony is 10 years old you can go back before a judge and apply to get your rights to bear arms reinstated. you have to hire a lawyer and fill out 2 forms its not that hard to do and normal costs are about 500 dollars.

You are not allowed to purchase/own/carry a gun if you've been convicted of a felony. Not even in Texas...

It is possible, in some cases, to hire a lawyer and be able to exsponge your record, and then be able to own a firearm, but it is a long shot. An expensive longshot.

If you have a felony conviction the answer is no. The key word is 'conviction.'
