YOU are the owner of a new team in it's first ever year of your favorite sport. There are 3 players available, each is in his first year ever, the bad news is you can only sign ONE. The good news is a friendly oracle has told you all 3 are future hall-of-famers, and furthermore, the oracle knows what kind of career each will have.

"Peter Peak" will struggle in his first few years and have injury problems that will cause him to hang it up after only 10 years. However, in between he will have the greatest 2 or 3 seasons anyone has had in the history of the game, where he is untouchable.

"Larry Longevity" will have a couple of "off years" and will never be chosen MVP, but will mostly have good solid seasons. He will play over 20 years for your organization.

Finally, "Charlie Consistency" will play about 15 years and have the best AVERAGE season of the 3, never really having EITHER an "outstanding" OR "poor" season.

Which do you pick and why?

I am trying to learn more about the rules of sports, namely, baseball, football, and basketball. I've searched online and not found a whole lot for people who do not already have background knowledge, and I'm not interested in buying any books. Anyone know of any good websites/tips other then just simply watching?

I remember when I was younger I was wasn't that heavy. I could jump high easy playing basketball. I was 5'9 and 148 pounds. I joined the Army and with all the push ups they made me do I bulked up so much. I know weigh 190 pounds of muscle. Even though it's muscle now, hell, I can't jump as high as I could when I was light as a feather weighing 148 pounds. I know you can never lose muscle but I need to get my weight back down. i play a lot of basketball, and I want to be able to get up off the ground with ease like I did when I was 148 instead of 190! The Army put all that muscle on my body which is not for basketball bodies. How do you lose muscle? I'm not really fat. I'm bulked up now. Which muscle weighs more than fat. It's keeping me from getting off the ground. Is it possible to lose some muscle? I'm going to all Cardio again? Arnold Schwarzneggar lost it all from his bodybuilding days how did he lose some of that muscle To slim down?

Mar 20, 2007 (AP)— Eleven professional wrestlers, including the WWE's Randy Orton, have joined the list of athletes linked to a nationwide steroids investigation.

SI.com reported Monday that Orton allegedly received eight prescriptions for six different drugs including stanozolol, nandrolone and testosterone between March 2004 and August 2004. According to the documents SI.com reviewed, two doctors whose names also appear in Gary Matthews Jr.'s file, wrote prescriptions for Orton.

Orton, through the WWE, declined comment, SI.com said. In its review of documents, SI.com reported it found Adam Copeland, a.k.a. Edge, and Shane Helms, a.k.a. The Hurricane, received HGH from Applied Pharmacy in Mobile, Ala., one of the pharmac

I am English so just read through before you answer:

In England main sport with a large amount of Contact is Rugby which is equivalent to you American Football.....You cant say that rugby players are just Fat etc BECAUSE RUGBY IS CHANGING...To be an international or rugby 7's player you have to be extremely healthy and pretty built......

Next Rugby is not just for losers who cant do other sports...It may be in america but you Americans have to reliase that a sports status is different for different Countries.

Also i can understand where your comming from saying that American Football may be better but i only think because American Footballers health is better.
