I know how to snowboard, but I have never surfed. I would love to learn, would I have to start from scratch or would my snowboarding skills give me a good headstart?
Also, if you've done both, which one do you like best?
Thanks

I make a really big deal out of things that are probably really nothing to be so stressed out about but, I want to join the cheerleading squad. are they usually around the end of the year? What are tryouts like? I want to make jr varsity or varsity, no soph/freshman team so that means I probably have to learn tumbling. Should I take a tumbling/pre cheer class to prepare myself? If I start in March do you think I'd be prepared for tryouts?

I was just wondering why most of the competitors in the World's Strongest Men Championships that are aired on ESPN are from Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, etc. Do they have special funding and supports for these competitors in those Eastern European countries, kind like how some countries funnel money into Olympic training? Thanks.
