I find it that it can be very relaxing to empty a couple of clips on a target.

damn right it does. just havin' one of them days where it wouldnt have paid to get out of bed, i just step out my back door, run a few mags thru whatever i feel like shootin'. so yea it lowers the stress levels, and is great relaxation. gunfire is a wonderful sound

Not only releasing stress but also good for relaxation, develops shooting skills and self confidence

I try to to hit the indoor range at least once a week with my 9mm and .40. fortunately I live out in the desert (Vegas) so I have a couple of spots where I can go shot my and M4A1 and a suppressed MP5 when I need to go full auto...

Yes, I do - occassionally. It can be relaxing to unload a clip or shoot a 300mag or 7mm. Something about the power, I'd guess.
