to me it is, although i love football too. i'm no hick either, i'm a college educated city boy.
to the 2 narrow minded morons above me who say NASCAR is not a sport: you'd better call ESPN and let them know, because they just shelled out a boat load of cash to carry the entire busch series and the second half of the cup series. and while you're at it, go ahead and call every newspaper in america and let them know too, because every single one of them cover NASCAR in their sports sections.
@phish 112: did your mother have any kids with IQs above 50? NASCAR DOES go head to head with the NFL for 2 and a half months every fall, from early sept. through mid november, duh. and NASCAR holds it own just fine thank you. care to make any other stupid statements?

I have friends who watch Nascar, so I am definitely not bashing it--but Nascar is not a sport. I don't know what Nascar would be considered--but it is definitely not a sport. In the United States, I think that football will always top Nascar.

HA when did driving a car become a sport?? Yeah..... but anyways Nascar is only popular because its on Sundays AFTER football season and it gives people another reason to drink. Put it on the same schedule as football and watch it fall straight into the ground.

OK grammar 101 buddy; "I isn't" Is not how you say it. It is I am not. Next, football is way better! =) First, Its way more interesting, maybe because its a contact sport, but NASCAR is just a whole bunch of guys in cars going around a track like Daytona International Speedway (So crowded during races!:0) Anyway football is better buts THATS MY OPINION! =) =)
