I guess the best way to describe them is, they are kind of like a gas powered snowboard, or skate board. We have a couple, I've never been able to ride them. I was wondering if any one else has gotten the hang of it and how long it took to get used to riding it. Oh and where did you get yours?

If you have to pay to attend a (for example) football or baseball, doesn't it make sense you should also pay to see it on TV (as a pay-per-view event)? For example, I could care less about baseball, but FOX is broadcasting the playoffs/World Series. I'd rather watch the regular FOX programming. IMHO, the baseball ought to be on a Pay-per-view channel. In today's age of cable television, why are sporting events still broadcast and not pay-per-view?

... and put that money where it could actually do some good? They're never going to be able to spend all that money in their entire lifetime anyway, so why should they have so much when others can't even make ends meet without assistance from the government?

Why do my sneakers squeak? I just bought them (Nike SBs) and had used them on a rainy day. The sneakers squeak as they flex when I walk. It's not that the soles squeak on a floor.

I hang out with my buddies because they're funny and I work with them, but when it comes to watching sports I don't know how to meaningfully contribute to any conversation. I'm still at the point of asking things like "what is a two point conversion" and stuff like that. They seem to know lots of things about players, for example, which I am clueless about. When watching sports, say for example a football game, what things should I be looking out for? What do most people enjoy about watching a game? How do you talk about it?

It's got to be the dumbest thing ever.

I understand that a "bit" is a foreign coin and will eventually make up a dollar, but what does it have to do with football and basketball?

stuuuuuuupid.

Ok someone posted a question asking if you're going to heaven or hell, and everyone who said they were going to hell got a thumbs down. It's an opinion, why are you giving them a thumbs down when you're asking them for their opinion! It's not like you asked them an actual question that needed a real solution.

So anyways, I'll try to make this a post with a lot of answers.

WHAT is everyone's favorite sport and team? hockey, soccer, football anything!
