I am a new runner doing my first mini triathlon. Any advice on staying hydrated?

I almost always get a stitch while running and it drives me mad! My legs are fine and my lungs are fine but a stitch kicks in and I have to stop. It usually leaves after a few miles but is there any way of stopping it from happening? ( allready tried varying eating times and rhythmic breathing)

I like how some sports have not only tests of skill, but of strategy and tactics(basketball, volleyball). I don't get together with other people often, so what is a good sport i can do by myself? I dont live anywhere near a cliff, an airport, a skiing slope, an ocean, a horse...place, a martial arts school, a bike trail, a hiking trail, or anywhere like that. i'd like something that is not location specific. also, it is getting colder out, so maybe something that can be done indoors(or in the cold?) things like running, bikeriding, weightlifting, and the like kind of bore me. i want something more involved, yet still physicall demanding(not like Golf or pool). not sure if this helps at all, I hope someone can help suggest something for me. it would be MUCH appreciated.

I just ran a 5k marathon today. I did in 29 minutes and 10 seconds. My pace was 9:30 minute per mile. Any suggestion to go faster. I weigh 175 pounds and 5feet 7. Im assuming I should lose 15 pounds. I jog every 2days in the morning for 35 minutes which is 3.5 mile path. Any suggestion to get better at 5k marathon?

I've been told that the body 'recycles' the water you in during a race and sweats it out. I don't know if this is true. Or do most people simply use the restroom during the race, but since we only see the winners who finish in 2 1/2 hours on tv, the potty break doesn't become an issue?

Did it start with one person and then spread from there into the astronomically high salaries players make?

My daughter has mild learning difficulties and has been going to the RDA for lessons, her new school will not let her take time off during the day, so we have had to stop going. Have tried other RDA groups who do lessons outside school hours but all have massive waiting lists. So wondered if anyone knew of a good, reasonable riding school that would be willing to take my daughter on.
