Good question, and one that I understand more as an issue of business strategy rather than technical incompitence. On a similar note, I am wondering as to why in America we don't have the equivalent access to fiberoptic internect connection that we have here in Japan. Furthermore, one of the reasons as to why there isnt that access to wireles internet in Tokyo is because of peoples obsession with keitai, or shall I say internet enabled cell phones. It is not as if people don't use wireless internet here, it is just that they do it all on a cell phone and not on laptops.
