I just ran a 5k marathon today. I did in 29 minutes and 10 seconds. My pace was 9:30 minute per mile. Any suggestion to go faster. I weigh 175 pounds and 5feet 7. Im assuming I should lose 15 pounds. I jog every 2days in the morning for 35 minutes which is 3.5 mile path. Any suggestion to get better at 5k marathon?

are you running 5K, or a marathon? 5K is 3.2 miles, a marathon is 26.2 miles.

running 30 minutes every other day is good, like you are doing now. I would add a long run one day a week, 5 miles or more. And change one of the 30 minute runs to a sprint or hill workout. sprints will help you increase your speed, and the long run will increase your endurance.
