My friend is organizing a 10k run and 2 mile walk on October 15, 2006 in Washington DC.

The event supports a dedicated cancer research program at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD that was created in honor of his dad.

Can you help? Please suggest some cheap ideas to help advertise the race and encourage people to sign up.

Thanks very much.

My daughter runs cross-country and has had a lot of problems with sidestiches both last year and this year. She is a great runner, but this is having a big effect on her ability to perform. Need to know what we can do to avoid them completely or get them to dissipate after they start. She is often still "sore" from them a day or two later. Help??!!

I've been doing ballet for quite some time now, and I don't feel as if I'm becoming more flexible, and I'd really like to start in on the "exercises on the floor", but I'm not flexible enough.
It's really disturbing when all the other girls are doing splits and I can only manage half. Are there any good exercises to aid this certain situation?

I"m on my school's cross country team and 2 days ago we had a meet (2 miles) and my legs hurt so bad that they start shaking when i stand for a couple of minutes. Also I still have practice after school and my legs don't have anytime to heal because i have to run 2,3, or even 4 miles everyday and I told my coach that they hurt really bad but she said try your best. If you have any tips to stop them from hurting, please help! Thank you soooooooooooo much. they hurt really bad.

I have a tall friend who thinks he can run faster than a short kid. I was wondering if he has and advantage because his legs are longer, and he can take longer stride.
