well I'm going to have to fight someone thats not bigger than me, hes my height, but he is stronger than me. Is there a way to beat him anyway? and is there a way to keep my confidence up during the fight because I fight better when im confident in myself.

keep in mind that this isnt a real fight, there isnt going to be chair smashing or any blood. their isn't gonna be any big injurys either

Imagine this.......even though Mike is now a has been, I still think Mike Tyson in th UFC is a money maker. The Ultimate Fighting would be Great for Mike. Mike Tyson is a street Brawler who knows how to fight and can still hit hard.
Can he survive against the following UFC stars???
A- Chuck the "Iceman" Lidell
B- Rampage Jackson
C- Tim Silvia

I think SO!~

I recently bought a DVD called Fat-Burning Kickboxing Workout for Dummies, and when they do the ten step tutorial, the instructor breaks down each key move. I cannot tell the difference between the sidekick and the roundhouse. I watched her do both closely and carefully and they seem to be exactly the same. What am I missing?

I do karate, and through that, we have to do a lot of push-up. I hate them, but I still would like to have more strenght in my arms so I could follow easily the rest of the class. And I like my arms to not be the same size all way through...

I've been in a traditional noncompetitive art for years. We do forms, ground work and locks.

I've decided that I want to learn muay thai. For like 5 minutes they had us shadow boxing. I've never done anything like that before. I'm used to kata, but not this.

What should I try and focus on? How useful do you think shadow boxing is? What are the pros and cons?

I have been wanting to learn a martial art for quite a while, although I'm careful about where I spend my money. I want a "real" dojo and not one in a shopping mall that parents use to babysit their kids. No preferance on style, I believe that if you learn one style well enough it doesn't matter who you fight. Though I want a school with a history of competition fighting. Please only people with actual knowledge and not their friends thoughts on it, thank you.

doing exercises where one would hold a pad, and hte other would kick at it. now as i was holding this pad. and this guy kicks really damn hard! my instinct, for some reason was to flex my abs aginst hte blows. but it seemed that really i was just holding my breath or something. i dunno. after that, we did all kinds of exericses , sit ups, push ups and jumping jacks. i thought it was all easy. then i come home, like 45 minutes ago. and i seem to be having trouble breathing. any ideas?

I watch alot of UFC and MMA and I was wondering what the starting points of Jiu Jitsu are? STANCES, TECHNIQUE etc? I am a good streetfighter, my estate is a bit rough so I get into alot of fights. Im 16 I got in a fight with a 20 yr old or over in the city centre and won. This is because of experience with kids around my area, in school, in town etc. I do have a bad temper aswell though. There are also no MA clubs or teaching lessons for kungfu, tkd etc or anything around my area and I want to get better at my fighting skills. I have a boxing bag and am inroled in gym Can anyone help?
