GYMKATA

LOL. Just Kidding. That was a very old cheasey b rated film where the actor was an american gymist who was a MA expert too so it reminded me of that movie when I saw it LOL.

Thanks for an interesting video, but it is not Martial arts, looks alot like gymnastics.

this is NOT a martial art
this is parkour- free running, with a few kicks thrown in for good measure.. it looks very acrobatic, but no martial art comes close to this, not even wushu
there is no structure to this video, it seems very random, whereas martial arts follow a very rigid structure
anyone who says that this is a martial art hasn't got a clue

Looks like "Extreme Martial Arts."

XMA is basically a lot of flips, spins, and kicks... it's not exactly martial arts; it's more similar to gymnastics. But it's very fun to watch and I'm sure it would be just as fun to do. :D

I think they took techniques from capoeria, and certain styles of kung fu, like wushu, and mixed it in with lots of gymnastics.

XMA - kicknastics Ma-trix (martial art -trix) inspired by the movies. it mixes gymastics and martial arts with stunt work for a movie type feel.... no its not a traditional martial art, however the amount of body control and dedication it takes to build skill in this "art", i feel no need to put it down as a waste of time.

It's not martial, or even a art. It's gymnastics, with watered-down Hollywood kung fu mixed in.

That's not a martial art, that's gymnastics.

That's not any martial art, the kicks are poorly executed and look highly ineffective, but they are very agile and look like gymnasts.

The flip klicks and such appear to look like Capoera. The rest could be a form a monkey style kung fu.

well capoeira wushu and some other kung fu such as monkey kung fu use a lot of acrobatic moves however its probably safe to say they are tricking aka extreme martial arts(xma) which is a blend of the more flashy moves of capoeira taekwondo wushu gymnastics etc....
