The only reason I will be watching this is because it will be free. Its most likely going to be on one of the upcoming Ultimate fight nights on spike T.V. It should be a night of great fights with the return of The Prodigy B.J. Penn taking on kuniyoshi Hironaka. I think the event is scheduled for October 10th. Should be pretty good.

I found myself coasting through the first few color belts in Taekwondo in just 4 months
there are four classes every week
but the thing is the lessons were $800 a year or when I got to certain belt (which was purple first stage, red second stage, and black third stage)
so no matter how fast I complete a stage (it took me four months the first stage) I have to pay the $800 3 times to get to black belt and I had to pay right after that four months when I got my purple belt
so now I found myself not going to classes as often so I have more time in my interets cause if I don't I probably could have gone to black belt in a year
if this is the price for learning fast, then what is the point of practice?
please tell me if I should go to class more often..

Who thinks Chuck will keep his belt on August 26?? What about after that, when he fights Wanderlei Silva in November?? Your opinions and comments please!

I have been told that the difference between "full long" muscles and "peaked" muscles (I.e long n low and short n high) is due to the workout habits of the person they are attached to. I have also been told that it is a genetic trait. Which is true? I assume that the full long muscles are better for martial arts but how do I train my muscles for this using gym equipment and standard free weights? Also, how do I train for speep in striking? Should I use drills and isometrics and stuffs or can weight training help with this too?

My money is on Hawking because he uses a pioneer 4000 wheelchair. I believe this gives him the edge as he has more ramming power. What do you guys think?

If you don't know who these guys are you shouldn't be on a Martial arts site as they are the most popular fighters in the world today.
Sakuraba was the first guy to make the Gracies look 2nd best in the ring defeating Royler, Royce, Ronzo and Ryan all Gracies and Rickson is the best Gracie and has a record of over 600 wins and no losses although most of these fights are in Jui Jitsu competition. I have waited for this fight ever since Sacuraba defeated Royce Gracie in Japan at PRIDE in 2000.

This event is going to take place finaly and i can't wait it will be held at K1 either on October 9th or December 31st and Rickson will be getting paid a huge 3 MILLION US can you beleve it?

Who will win and how?
Why have these guys singed to fight in K1 instead of PRIDE?

My criteria are convenient size, enough power & accuracy, parts & ammo readily available, manageable recoil & components, easy to maintain, ambidextrous, safe, quick draw capability, firepower, good bullet selection, and durability & reliability. I've tested many pistols and wrote books about it. I suppose that the Browning "Hi-Power' or "GP 35" has been used by more armies in the 20th Century than any other. I have a customized one that has more reliability, firepower and quick draw capability than the factory version. Is it best overall for combat? Serious answers only and no insulting remarks from Sarah Brady or her fans!

why doesn't Chuck want a rematch against the man who pounded him senseless and made his takedown defense, no defense? Did you see what Vanderlei did to Quinton?? TWICE!! ....albeit with Pride rules (which are more realistic and vicsous)

It been a slow ride. The UFC has been going for about 13 years now. Do you reckon that people are tuning in to see more MMA events than the Pro Wrestling (WWE, TNA stuff)?

I think that promotions like the WWE are loosing fans because people are starting to see the exciting MMA offers?

Whats your opinion?

My favorite is Chuck Liddell. He whooped that punk Tito Ortiz at UFC 47.

What are the most effective forms of self defence?

Realistic ones say against knives, guns, bottles, in and around cars against mulitple mugger who if you end up on the floor kick your head in...Maybe in a subway train, bus bar etc not a nice clean dojo and one that can teach you to be resourceful and utilize whats around you ie pool cue

Street fight dirty not sport. Ideally one that can get you aggressive enough to psychologically be able to fight and willing if you are too nice.

Plus how to you do 'anit freeze' as in anti when you get into reral trouble freeze up and go cold and weak like a bunny in headlights reagardless of how well you did in class?

I dream of a tournament that does not restrict style and does not judge petty stuff such as forms and board breaking. I would like a tournament style single elimination contest where the best fighters will duke it out no hold bars. The only rule is no killing. People may only enter if they have achieved a certain acclaim in their own art.
