I don't think the WWE is losing fans because people who watch wrestling are not watching it for athletic competition they are wathcing it because it is fun to watch, it is like a weekly sitcom or soap opera. I do think that some of the Wrestling fans are watching UFC also but the UFC is definitely not taking away fans. I do think that the WWE is trying to incorporate MMA into their shows to try to keep their fans interested. Personnally I would always rather watch UFC, Pride, WFA, Strikeforce, King of the Cage and K-1. I still enjoy watching wrestling also but just for the entertainment because it is fun to watch.

I'd say i enjoy watching both. I never miss UFC ppvs same with WWE. Right now, the UFC is achieving success they haven't done before and fans are tuning in. They've improve a lot over the years. WWE, I agree is a bit in decline but these two companies have different viewers. One's entertainment and one's MMA. So it won't affect the viewers or ratings that much.

Most people usually watch for the violence so if that's the case the UFC is much more intense in almost every way than fake wrestling plus everything that happens in MMA is completly unscripted and anything can happen like smaller guys getting a lucky shot and winning much bigger guys basically I think fans are just more impressed
with realism over just flashy bs.

I agree that people are definitely turning to MMA events but until you can watch MMA on a regular basis it can't compete with WWE, only because WWE has like 3 or 4 shows on a week.

i would much rather watch 2 guys leave their blood sweat and tears in an octogan or a ring. they put so much training, time and sacrifice to get their mind and body to a certain point to compete. the wwe even though it is fun to watch, obviously its fake and if u really break it down its more show then wrestling. maybe im bious cuz ive competed in mma but in mho the wwe has nothing on mma especially pride

I think they are both growing popular but UFC can't compete with the WWE. It has like 3 or 4 shows and has been around for decades. But that doesn't mean the WWE is better.

UFC any time WWE has become a soap opera.
I'm not saying that the guys aren't talented athletes but they are really bad actors
