I am a novice to Fantasy Hockey and need some help/direction.
I'm in a Rotisserie League with one scoring stat being PIM. I would think the more PIM a Fantasy Team has the lower the scoring in that category... kinda like ERA in Fantasy Baseball. Why then, do the Teams in my Fantasy League get more points for more PIM. My Team and others, who have 0 PIM, are scoring the lowest in that category. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hull's foot in the crease. Hand passes that only happen if you're on shrooms. Offsides that are called because a team is too young. Misconduct penalties for jack shiet.

How can this hockey team that got to the Stanley Cup play-offs 2yrs in a row get so bad. They are only one step better than the Coyotes. What happened to the Kipper. Do you think they will trade Jerome Igilna?

On ESPN.com it doesn't show a Home team television station which it usually does, and almost, if not every Carolina game has been televised on FSN or Versus. This is a big game that I need to watch. Anybody know for sure?

Tampa obviously has a very high payroll for their big three players and soon will have to get rid of one or possibly 2 of them. Who would you get rid of...Lecavalier...St. Louis...or Richards?

Anaheim may have possibly the best defensive duo in a long time and alot of speed, but Buffalo also has plenty of speed and lots of skill in the net. Who would you choose?

the league decided that it would be a better motivating factor to deduct points in case of a tie rather that have a game decided by breakaways after a brief OT like they do now. I think they should play a full overtime period and if the game is tied, then each team loses a point.

I know that it isn't popular but think about it, I'd like to know how you feel the concept would impact the players and the game.

Pick your teams / forget the scores.
Careful about picking the same 5 teams that someone else picked.
Ties are broke by the total # of goals scored by your winning teams.

College hockey for boys and men are usually sold out. I know you cannot compare apples and oranges. However, the sport of tennis for men and women attracts a lot of spectators and support. Each group is just as popular and attracts the same number of audience to watch them in tennis...men and women! Why not hockey...some of these girls and women are phenomenal!

I've heard some people say that there is a rumour that Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson may be traded straight up for Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla. If so this would be a great trade that may benefit both teams. Is there any truth behind this rumour is it just simply a rumour?

I think Ryan MIller is extremely talented and I'm thrilled that Buffalo has him. But, was anyone else happy to see Biron get some time in the net last night? How do you think he did?

The Sabres record is inflated by shootout wins (PS there is no shoot out in the playoffs). In fact 4 of the wins are in the shootout in the old NHL the Sabres would be 8-2-4 (the W-L-T system) a good record but not worth the hype. The Dallas stars were favored by many experts entering the playoffs last year but the record was inflated by 14 shootout wins and 3 of the 4 Dallas loses all came in OT. This sounds very familiar to Buffalo's situation.
