I think its a tie between Scott Walker and Eric Staal. They both have 8 goals and are very good players. But i am leaning more toward Scott.

I was just reading the box score of the wings-flames game, and it said that mccarty and maltby had roughing minors against each other. Is that true? cuz when they played for the wings, they were like BEST buds, playing on the same line for years. If anyone saw the game, can you describe what happened? Was it like anger roughing or just for fun roughing? I'm just WAY too curious about this

Is any one else annoyed by the current NHL schedule? I have designed a new alignment for the league with fans in mind. To me it is almost perfect. The obvious fault requiring more travel for teams because they have to go to every NHL city at least once a year is a by-product of making the schedule better.

10 Three team Divisions

West
1. Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver
2. LA, Anaheim, San Jose
3. Phoenix, Dallas, Colorado
4. Detroit, Columbus, Minnesota
5. St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville
East
6. Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal
7. Pittsburg, Philadephia, Carolina
8. Rangers, Islanders, Devils
9. Boston, Washington, Buffalo
10. Atlanta, Florida, Tampa Bay

Each division plays teams in its own division 8 times (16 games)
Each division has two other divisions it plays 4 times (24 games)
Each division plays remaining teams (21) twice. (42 games)

Voila - 82 games schedule.

It just seems to me that since 93' when the Habs took the cup it hasnt been home in Canada where it belongs. DOn't get me wrong a lot of Cup captains in the past few years have been Canadians, so no one can doubt our skill.
I fermly believe that its more profitable for the NHL to have american teams win the Stanley Cup, which isn't right because they don't deserve it.
I for one would like the cup finally home in Canada
If u don't believe me look at the last two cups... They just can't let us win the cup should have gone to Edmonton last year and Calgary before the lockout. (poor officiating)!!!
NHL stop holding us back its ruining the game, money aside let the cup come where it belongs.
