Honestly, who can tell? Calgary were damned close in '04. Edmonton not so much as going down 1-3 meant a near impossible 3 straight to beat Carolina...proven right.
If Ottawa can figure out its goaltending, they'll win it all. Not that I care about Canadian teams bar the hometown Nux as I hate any team east of the Rockies. Sooner see an "American-based" team win than, say, the Make Beliefs.

If they can keep us the good work, I'd say the Canadiens. As much as I hate this team (I'm from Quebec, home of the now-defunct Nordiques), I have to admit that this year's edition is pretty good so far. They have a young and talented team, with lots of speed and one of the best goaltender duo in the league. It would be nice for the franchise to get a 25th stanley cup.

I think it should be the Canucks with the talent they have assembled from the draft but that doesn't mean that the Flames or Oilers can't do it either. I think the Canucks are in the best position to take the next step. However, I do know one team that won't win and their logo is to the left of this answer.

I would have to say the senators because they are the closest. The flames and Habs are still young. The leafs and canucks are over the hill and missed their shots this time around. The Senators have this year and maybe next to win..
