I'm 5'10 185-190lbs and pretty quick. I'm still gettting the fundamentals down (like skating) but my snap shot, slap shot, and passing are all pretty accurate. I'm joining a developmental league to get a position and want to know what position I should work on perfecting. Thanks for the help!

The last time Indian hockey team won a world / gold cup was in 1970...it's 2006 now and the game in which once we were considered masters, we are now reduced to the lowest....

I watch a lot of hockey and believe that the goalies place is in front of the net.If and when, he feels the need to leave the crease,he should be fair game.

I am attending a New York Rangers/Buffalo Sabres game in Madison Square Garden. As ticket prices have risen around the NHL, I figure some of the rowdier fans will have been priced out of the market, but everyone knows that MSG isn't one of the more hospitable rinks for visiting fans.

Will I be taking my life into my hands by cheering for the Sabres?

I've been a hockey fan for 30 years and I hate that rule change a couple of years ago making the home teams wear their "road" or dark jerseys at home.

I like the tradition of the clean, white home jersey.

This was a change just for the sake of making a change, it doesn't impact the game at all, so why do it?

I can see doing it for one season just to see what its like but enough already.

The hockey player i am thankful for to have on the carolina hurricanes would have to be Cam Ward. He has his ruff games but when he is on a role, he is on fire.

They sucked last year. They are still finding ways to win without Sundin.

I like Patty Roy and one of the reasons he retired from hockey is because he had bad hips. Thanks

it seems that he has so much potential, but he still hasn't become that dominant force like an ovechkin or kovalchuk. will he ever? or will he be like another kovalev (i don't mean that disrespectfully to kovalev)?

Where is the likely destination? Would it be wise to deal with Philly? That's the kinda thing that can bite you in the asss.

I'm looking for old footage, like the Battle of Albertas from the 80's, and the Flames Cup win in 1989. I specifically want to get ahold of the game 7 overtime against Vancouver. Where can I find this?

forth are very overrated,,i mean crosby looks like a 3rd line center most nights ,does not generate any offense it seems to me that he feast among the weak teams and never shows up against the good ones,,every great player of the past,,lemieux,,messier,,yzerman,,gretzky,,etc....showed up almost every night ,,crosby shows burst against weak opposition,,,whitney is just a wimp,,who cant pass,,cant check,,,cant play in his own zone,,he was a fifth overall pick ,,for a d-man,,armstrong ,,well it speaks for itself,,as a pens fan its very frustrating,,can anyone tell me if they agree with me ,,or will this team ever go anywhere?

okay guys can you please give me some advice. For my hockey pool i have a chance to get Hasek, i no this is a big risk but i'm not sure. My 2 goalies are:

Kari Lehtonen - ATL
Martin Brodeur- NJD

i need the goalie that will have the most wins, each win is 2 points, and a shut out is 3 points plus the win makes it 5 altogether. Should i stick with my goalies or move on to Hasek.

Some of these include:

NHL ProSet 90-91 Ed Belfour - Chicago Blackhawks rookie card

NHL ProSet 90-91 Jaromir Jagr - Pittsburgh Penguins rookie card (there's a misprint on the stats on the back - the stat categories are moved one to the right, so GP has goals under it, G has assists under it, A has goals under it, etc... that could make it worth more or worth less?)

Score 1990 Mario Lemieux - Penguins card

Donruss Elite 1998 Wayne Gretzky - Rangers card

Yeah - I know.... You're sick of this.
Flyers are still making moves. / They recalled more players from the AHL - one-of-which is a known enforcer which tells me they're expecting trouble.... but I hope not.
If you ask me - it's a hinge-game so..... Peter? Simon? Sami? Petr? Antereo? Joni? Geoff? You ready to show these wanna-bes what ya got?

Does ANYONE STILL BELIEVE?
