forth are very overrated,,i mean crosby looks like a 3rd line center most nights ,does not generate any offense it seems to me that he feast among the weak teams and never shows up against the good ones,,every great player of the past,,lemieux,,messier,,yzerman,,gretzky,,etc....showed up almost every night ,,crosby shows burst against weak opposition,,,whitney is just a wimp,,who cant pass,,cant check,,,cant play in his own zone,,he was a fifth overall pick ,,for a d-man,,armstrong ,,well it speaks for itself,,as a pens fan its very frustrating,,can anyone tell me if they agree with me ,,or will this team ever go anywhere?

I also live in Pittsburgh...and yes I understand your frustration, but our record will be rising again....we just had a 4 game road trip and now we have a cluster of games....our boys are wiped.

Oh and about Armstrong- HE'S TERRIBLE AND I HATE HIM.
The only reason he got points last year was because recchi was gone and he was the only one for sidney to set up..and he still ruined so many chances. All he has done this year is put us a man-down by getting penalties

First off not to be rude but what games have you been watching? He is in the top ten in scoring and remember, the kid is only 19. Most 19 year old players are still in the minors so you can't bash the kid. He is the real deal and will be a force in years to come. Do you think every player that gets drafted should play like lemieux did? You think yzerman was as good as crosby is when he was 19? I think not. Have faith there a young team and in a few years you will see a team that is going to win some cups.

So the team wasn't used to playing games this often and I think it is showing is one of the big problems. They got screwed on the schedule and we should all know it. Come on their first few games were like a week apart, or 4 days apart or so. Now they have them all bundled togther. This is still a young team and they still need to play in the NHL to get used to playing in the NHL. So everyone got so excited when a rested team could play a team that was usually more worn out. Now they are on the short end of that stick and it is being done to them, that is the NHL. Clearly Therrian doesn't agree with your assement of players, nor does Sharpio. If they did they would have the guys in teh minors or gone. Well ok maybe with Whitney they do to a degree and they have him playing so he will get better, but I doubt it. An armchair player never knows the game as good as the Coach and GM. Now this won't happen BUT if Armstrong suddenly became a superstar caliber player you would likely start singing his praise and questioning how anyone ever doubted him. You know it as well. Let the guys play and get used to playing in the NHL with each other and against NHL players.

God Lord woman, give the KIDS a break. Crosby is only 19 years old. Young players will have good and bad games--heck, good and bad shifts. Give them time to mature. He is going to be a heck of a player. But you can't rush him. This is why most players are in the minors for several years, to mature and get experience. Because Crosby is so good them have him in the NHL now and you are going to see all his mistakes as he matures and gets the experience.

give it time these are young players that are developing in to stars, just cause your team isn't looking good doesn't mean to start putting the players down this is your team stick with them. they lose you lose they win you win. just don't start not believing in your team Crosby is the real deal he will have his ups, and downs its part of learning this is whats going to make him great.

I agree I never hopped on the sidney Crosby bandwagon.

love the fact that pittsburg still has a team and God willing that will never change!

but in parting I have to say "GO SABRES!"
