They added Kubina and Gill to a completely different blueline. That was really their only problem last year, no defense besides Kaberle. McCabe is good, but hes not exactly a defensive player.
Paul Maurices style of play is also much better than Quinns, at the NHL level coaching really does have a huge impact. Toronto now plays with speed and style, instead of crash bang/dumping and chasing.
All you haters are pathetic, spending all your time bashing TO, we don't need your negative vibes. Toronto is a good team, theyre no fluke, theyve missed the playoffs only 3 times since 1992. Thats pretty solid. See you in May!

So good? Have the Make Beliefs won anything yet? So thy're 11-5-2...last year they were 11-7-2...ooh, plan the parade route!
So they don't have Sundin. What has he ever won...OK, Olympic gold...anyway, it's not like he's god's gift to hockey. All teams get injuries even to their stars.
Look at their next 10 games...fairly easy sked in the Least with all those wimpy teams. Let's see how they do vs. the Dead Things on Dec. 9 and in Carolina on the 15th.
Talk to me in April or May about the Laffs.

They were getting it together before Mats got hurt. Anyone doesn't want Mats send him 90 minutes south--the Sabs love him!
I think part is Maurice, he doesn't play the same ol' tired lines like Quinn did. You've got some talent in Wellwood too. I think Lindross is a giant anchor off your boat too--along with nutty Eddie Belfour.
Maybe the chemistry is finally coming together. Beating Buffalo a few games back (I forgive you--don't let it happen again) blew some sunshine up your skirts too!

You can't compare this season with last season because this season hasn't ended yet. Just wait and see and you'll see that they actually didn't get any better.

leafs arent really "good" but they're better ever since raycroft and paul maurice joined us
also, suprisingly, people from thte ahl (marlies) came over and are getting better
darcy tucker is also doing well this season

Becasue there Younger and there play styll id differrent this year, maurice is a good coach hes underrated and he obviously better than quinn. fat *** quinn.

They are always great in November..the golf courses are closed in Canada..They will suck again in the spring..
