I've been a hockey fan for 30 years and I hate that rule change a couple of years ago making the home teams wear their "road" or dark jerseys at home.

I like the tradition of the clean, white home jersey.

This was a change just for the sake of making a change, it doesn't impact the game at all, so why do it?

I can see doing it for one season just to see what its like but enough already.

The change was made because of the introduction of third jerseys. It was not "change for the sake of change" – it was done because teams traveling on the road found that they had to bring both dark and white jerseys with them on their road trip, because some opponents wore the standard white jerseys, while others wore the (usually dark) third jerseys which have been around since 1996-97.

To allow teams to travel light, the NHL switched the home/road jersey color so that road teams could always know that they'd only need to bring a white jersey.

I like the whites at home but as far as "tradition" that only started post-expansion. Before the 67/68 season teams wore their dark colors at home just like now.

The reason it was done is obvious so teams do not have to lug two sets of unis around on the road given most teams third jerseys are in dark colors.

I've worked with a lot of sellers before but the listed here one in particular is actually my personal favorite. They have got a lot of unique jerseys as well as elusive kinds which you cannot buy from all other retail stores. The product quality and customer service is the top one you could find online with so low price. With this distributor, i'm certain you're not going to disappoint you or your customers.

are you going on the old standerd "good guys where white?
I really don't see the difference. Why not showcase your team color at home and White (which all teams have) on the road?
