During the face offs in ice hockey, sometimes the ref makes the team change the player who is taking the face off. The only reason I can think of this is because he has tried to take the puck before the ref has dropped it. Am I right or is there a totally different reason?

He has no points in 18 games this season. That puts him tied with 28 other guys for last in scoring among defensemen. But of those 28 other players, only one has played more games than Rory. Even Wade Belak has a point. No offense to Rory, it's just I think there's more deserving players than him for the All-Star Game. After all this is suppose to be a showcase of NHL talent. And I don't think a guy with 0 points has a place in it.

Players like Gretzky and Mario were great for their time, but how do you think they would fair in the new format of the NHL, saying that Mario and Wayne were like 25, 26 years old. Would it be easier for them or would it be harder?

If you had the oppurtunity to play in the NHL, who would you want to play with on your line...
First tell me what position you play, if you are a forward name me 2 other current NHL forwards that you would like to have on your line, if you are a defenseman name a current NHL defenseman that you would like to be partnered with and name a goaltender you would like to have support you and your defensive partner.... if you are a goalie name 2 defenseman you would like to have infront of you...

for example i am a goalie and i would really like to have Sheldon Souray and Dion Phaneuf as my D-men infront of me...

Hey-
I'm a goalie on a U19 girls team out of Nashville. And since I am the goalie, I have to talk, alot. Telling them what to do, who is where, how many are on them, and whatnot.

How do you talk with a mouth guard? I cannot figure it out, normally, it falls out of my mouth when I talk/yell. And because I try to keep it in, I chew it up so badly. Is there a brand that is easier to talk with?

I just got my braces off, so I don't want to mess up my teeth, but I thought it would be easier now that they are. Boy, was I wrong. I am going to Connecticut the day after Christmas for a huge girls' tournment (Polar Bear, incase you care), and I really need to know. My girls rely on me to tell them what is going on. Thanks!!

if you had an oppurtunity to move a current existing NHL team, which city, either in Canada or the US, would you move it to and tell everyone the reasons for your choice....
I myself would like to take Pittsburgh and move it to Seattle only because I live in the Vancouver area and I wouldn't mind having 2 NHL franchises within 3 hours from each other just like with some teams in the east...that is my choice and my reason, what's yours?
